What if God had chosen to be just “Our Father who art in heaven” and what if we never experienced God with skin on in the person of Jesus? This Advent we will consider what it means that God willingly chose to become God incarnate; to become God in the flesh; to become a humble, down-to-earth God. As we celebrate what God became, we will also anticipate how God is present today and how Jesus’ love can transform our own lives and the lives of everyone we meet.
