On June 9th, Pentecost Sunday, in worship we will celebrate the 150th anniversary of UMW. As we recognize the incredible impact that the Holy Spirit has instigated through the hands of women across so many years, we will also recognize the impact she had on the early Jesus-followers as they grappled with how to gather in the immediate aftermath of Jesus’s death, resurrection, and ascension.
