The Greatest Showman is a musical that follows the rise to fame of Phineas Taylor Barnum (P.T. Barnum), the man who started the entertainment enterprise that became Barnum & Bailey’s Circus. P.T. Barnum started his enterprise by recruiting people for his acts and creating a community, a family, for people who felt the did not fit in anywhere. Using music from The Greatest Showman, we will explore what it means to be part of a community of The Greatest Faith. We will remember four of the basic lessons of our faith: You Are Loved; You Are Forgiven; You Have Purpose; and You Belong.
