Christmas Caroling

Join us for caroling at Provident Senior Care, 645 FM 967 in Buda. Please gather in the first building, just inside the door. Feel free to bring a friend. All are welcome who love God and love to share joy. Contact: Karen Dunn, 414-600-3284. Karen will provide sheet music.

Order Poinsettias

Beautify our church for Christmas by dedicating a poinsettia in honor or in memory of someone special! Poinsettias are $10 each. Deadline to order is December 16.

Quarterly Church Update Meeting

Please mark your calendars for the final all-church update of 2024 on December 15, directly following worship in the Worship Center.

Ave Simpson’s Baby Shower

United Women in Faith is hosting a baby shower for Ave Simpson on December 8, 11 am in Fellowship Hall. Couples are welcomed! Any clothing starting at six months and diapers would be appreciated! Text Neeta Allen at 979-709-7038 to RSVP and for Ave’s Amazon registry link.

Decorate for Advent

As the Advent season approaches, please consider helping with decorating the Chapel and Worship Center, which will take place after the worship service on November 24. Please let Sally de la Haye, 979-236-7340, know if you can help.

Advent Study

Join in on this year’s Advent study as we gather around N.T. Wright’s text Advent for Everyone: Luke: A Daily Devotional. Pick your choice of two gatherings in the Chapel: Contact Pastor Matt with all questions.

Women’s Christmas Party

Save the date for the UWF Christmas party, open to all women of the church. Please bring a wrapped Christmas-themed gift for the swap game ($10 limit) and a snack to share.

Family Advent Wreath Crafting

Following worship, Family Ministries invites families with children and youth to join us in the Fellowship Hall for refreshments and an Advent wreath craft. We are also offering the opportunity for your family to take a Christmas photo in front of the chapel doors! Contact Pastor Jeannie.

CLC Thanksgiving Fundraiser

Bone-in hams are mesquite and pecan wood smoked. Smoked turkeys are spatchcocked. No peanut oil is used in fried turkeys. Seasoning options are mild Cajun or herbs and spices. Your contribution will help support the children at Buda UMC Children’s Learning Center!
