Join us to mark the beginning of Lent with worship and the imposition of ashes on Wednesday, February 26 at 6:30pm in the Worship Center. Ash Wednesday emphasizes the duality we face when we confront our own mortality and confess our sin before God within the community of faith. The worship service will focus on the themes of sin and death, both in the light of God’s redeeming love in Jesus Christ. Pastor Lisa will reflect upon this in her Ash Wednesday meditation: Between a Rock and a Hard Place.
